Blackmon: Listening is key to better communication
In a recent New York Times interview, Drew Gilpin Faust, president of Harvard University, said two things that struck me as contradictory. First, she said "an enormous part of my job is listening to people, trying to understand where they are, how they see the world." That sounds good to me. Listening is an important part of any leadership job.
